Mona Lies is a licensed Physical Therapist who received a B.S. in Public Health Administration from Ball State University and a B.S. in Physical Therapy from State University of New York.  She is also a certified Newton running coach for injury prevention and running gait analysis.  She has experience working with children and adults in hospitals, outpatient clinics, in their homes, extended care facilities, brain injury centers, and schools. 

 

She was the director of Physical Therapy for a contract therapy company and helped open the first freestanding rehabilitation hospital in Indiana where she was the director of Physical Therapy and the program manager for the General Rehabilitation Program.  She is specialized in reflex integration to improve motor skills, behavior and learning.  Mona has  over 600 hours of training in Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI), certified in Sensory Integration Praxis Test (SIPT), and training in CranioSacral Therapy,  yoga for children, meditation, and  executive function skill development.   

 

During her work in the school setting, she provided numerous training sessions and professional development on movement and executive function skills as it relates to behavior and learning.
